Alsace Digitale

Alsace Digitale is an association whose ambition is to lead and promote the digital revolution in the Alsace region. Supported by the Eurometropolis of Strasbourg, it opened "La Plage Digitale", the first coworking space in Strasbourg, in Rivétoile in April 2012. 

It is from a concrete observation that Alsace Digitale was born: at the moment, Alsace has one of the largest universities in France, recognised engineering schools, a high penetration of the Internet, and yet the ecosystem of "startup" type companies needs to be consolidated. However, cities like Strasbourg have an environment that could prove conducive to the development of such an ecosystem, especially by relying on local areas of excellence such as biotechs. 

This is the origin of the creation of the association. The goal is clearly defined: to develop the economic fabric, to create the conditions conducive to the emergence of new companies, those of today that will be the success stories of tomorrow.
