Antic Pays Basque is the digital use development agency of the French Basque Country Agglomeration Community. The first structure in department 64 in France to be labelled Responsible Digital at the end of 2021, the Antic Pays Basque works to promote the transformation towards responsible and accessible digital technology for all the players in its territory of action and to create the conditions favourable to the generalisation of sober, ethical and reasoned uses of digital technology.
A pioneer in this territorial development policy, it has developed the "Territoire Numérique Responsable en commun" ("Responsible Digital Territory in Common" in english) project, supported by the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region and co-financed by the European Union (ERDF programme), which aims to experiment locally with methodologies and tools to generalise Responsible Digital uses, which will be made available in open source to all the territories of Nouvelle-Aquitaine.
