Boavizta

Boavizta is an inter-organization working group dedicated to measuring the environmental impact of organizations' digital technology. The working group: 

- Works to improve and generalise measurement in organisations 

- Federates and connects the players in the "measurement" ecosystem 

- Helps members with their skills development and projects 

- Values the collective actions of group members   

The Boavizta working group produces expert and updated resources under free licenses. These "commons": 

- Take the form of studies, measurement methodology, data repository, calculation engine, etc. 

- Cover infrastructures (data centers, networks, terminals, cloud), digital services 

- Enable full life cycle assessment & multi-criteria approach 

- Facilitate detailed impact analyses, decision-making 

- Rely on the work of reference organisations: INR, ADEME, CNRS, Green IT.fr, Alliance Green IT, Shift Project, etc. 

- Are reviewed by recognized experts, and are regularly updated 

- Are available under free licenses such as CC BY-SA 4.0 Attribution 

- Sharing under the same conditions.
