Who is the team behind this project ?
Under the leadership of Bela LOTO, around 20 members of Alliance Green IT met on March 14, 2021 to launch a new project : The international mapping of digital responsibility stakeholders.
This project aim to create an international mapping in a dynamic format, open to all, in English and which will bring together the associative and institutional stakeholders involved in their territory.
We hope that this cartography will provide a clear, neutral and exhaustive vision of the stakeholders involved in digital responsibility. It is also committed to strengthening exchanges between stakeholders to continue to improve the social, societal and environmental footprints of digital technology.
We thank Alliance Green IT's members who participate in the project, or have contributed to its creation :

How are areas of expertise, or topics, defined ?
The areas of expertise were proposed by Aiste Rugeviciute, who worked during a study project on a taxonomy of topics related to digital responsibility. This taxonomy precisely defines the environmental and social topics on which associative and institutional actors may be led to work.
This tool is eco-designed and accessible
Digital pollutes !
Perhaps to a lesser extent than transport and construction, but the dogma of performance and "dematerialisation" make digital a sector with an exponential impact. It is necessary to act today to create fewer problems tomorrow.
Of course, this site pollutes, but we have tried to reduce its impact as much as possible. We relied on the expertise of Translucide, a collective of independents committed to the creation of this tool. The people in the collective are independent craftsmen, mainly in Nantes and elsewhere in France. They come together around the CMS Translucide, a free tool (under MIT license), created from the beginning with an eco-design philosophy for tailor-made and easily administrable sites. Their approach to ecology, digital and eco-design is intended to be radical. They strive to be as transparent as possible.
Created in 2016, Translucide is a fully eco-designed CMS that facilitates the creation of custom sites with a low ecological footprint.Available in open source, The files that compose it use proven and stable programming technologiesand weigh up to ten times less than a CMS such as Wordpress.
We also wanted to make this site accessible. An accessible website is a site that allows people with disabilities to access its content and features without difficulty.
