Emmaüs Connect has been working since 2013 to enable people in social and digital situations to access online tools that have become essential. To be cut off from the internet today is to be excluded from essential services of daily life, it is to distance oneself from the return to work, from social ties.
The association has the particularity of working on the 3 aspects of digital precariousness: access to equipment, access to means of connection and support towards essential skills. To date, more than 170,000 people have been helped in their reception centres or partner Digital Relays. The association also offers training and tools to social actors and public service operators to pass on its methods with the ambition of changing scale in digital inclusion throughout the country.
