Familles Rurales

Familles Rurales is a national association recognized as being of public utility that acts in favor of families throughout the territory, in rural and peri-urban areas. With 121,000 member families, 1,850 local associations, 69 departmental federations and 11 regional federations, 40,000 volunteers and 17,000 employees, it is the leading associative family movement in France, but also a key player in the social and solidarity economy and popular education. Familles Rurales is an approved consumer protection association. Pluralist, independent and secular, it carries a humanist and social project based on the family, territories and community life

To meet the current challenges of digital technology, Familles Rurales offers and runs digital workshops throughout the country. A transformation of their structures

- Relais familles, Espaces de Vie Sociale, France Services, consumer hotlines

- has begun in order to set up new spaces: third places, local collaborative spaces (coworking, fablab, multi-service places, etc.), with support for audiences with multiple social and digital divides

They are also carrying out work and reflections to promote digital technology accessible to all.
