Social Centres are Local Structures that create and nurture social ties, animate democratic debate, support mobilisations and residents' projects, and build better living conditions, today and for tomorrow.
They offer social, educational, cultural and family activities to meet the needs and desires in the territory. One of the Federation's activities is to support the appropriation by the entire network of digital issues in society. For example, the "Connected Social Centers" project began in 2017, in 8 social centers in the Lille metropolis, led by the federation of social centers Nord Pas de Calais. The objective: to mobilise the inhabitants of a neighbourhood, community activists, public institutions and territorial partners to develop and develop digital solutions.
Their goal is to improve the daily life and the power to act of the inhabitants, members, volunteers and employees of their territories.
