Marie et Alphonse (L'atelier)

The Marie et Alphonse workshop is an association under the law of 1901 created in 2012, located in the heart of the Breil district of Nantes. 

Its mission is simple but essential: to practice and promote activities around digital technology, media and creation, while encouraging the meeting of these disciplines and developing social and solidarity links. At the Marie and Alphonse workshop, the belief is given in the power of digital technology to inspire, educate and connect individuals. This is why it offers a variety of actions to allow everyone to explore and flourish in this field. 

Whether you want to train in computer science, collaborate with other enthusiasts, or simply experiment with new technologies in this shared fablab-style workshop, you will find within the association a welcoming and stimulating space to develop your digital skills. The workshop is also committed to promoting diversity and inclusion, paying special attention to women through courses and workshops entirely dedicated to them. 

Since its beginnings, it has also placed a special emphasis on media and information literacy, offering workshops and workshops specially designed for young people. Its members are convinced that media literacy is a powerful tool for training responsible and critical citizens, capable of navigating a complex digital world. 

Its objective is to create an environment where everyone feels supported and encouraged to express their creativity and develop their skills, in a spirit of sharing and solidarity.
